Mise en place and Table Setting

Mise en place and Table Setting

Mise en place is a term mainly used in catering.
It literally means "put in place" which indicates the complete set-up of the table, preparing it according to the service to be performed. The basic mise en place usually includes a napkin, or a plate in the center, one or two table forks on the left, a table knife on the right, a glass of water next to the tip of the knife, a plate of bread next to the tip of the fork.

In the case of a previously agreed menu, the mise en place is adapted according to the chosen dishes and wines.
Personalized glasses, made in Italy porcelain, extraordinary plates and cutlery of every kind, nothing is left to chance in the design of the table.

Everything can be personalized and created in order to make the table a precise and appropriate scenographic component that follows the style of the event.
